This patient was very active and fit, but was never able to get rid of the fullness under her chin. Dr. Gerecci recommended submental liposuction to remove the fat and a chin implant to help with the jawline contour. Liposuction was performed using a small (<1cm) incision under the chin. A small sized chin implant was placed using an incision inside the mouth. The procedure was performed in the office using oral sedation and local anesthesia. The patient is pictured here just over 1 year after surgery.
